I think sd go up to 4gb and cf go to 8gb microdrives.

I know of the following 8GB CF cards:
- SanDisk Ultra II $323 at newegg
- A-Data (hard to find), around 350
- Transcend 120x, around 350
- Transcend 80x, around 390
- Lexar 40x, around 390
- Lexar 80x, north of 500
And there will be an Extreme III soon.

Seagate make an 8GB MicroDrive for 150.

Some folks here have the Ultra II, I have the Transcend 80x. If I had to buy now I would go with the newer 120x or the cheaper Ultra II 66x.

These are the 4GB SDs I've heard of:
- A-Data 150x, $109 at zipzoomfly
- Transcend 150x, 139 - 30 MIR at zipzoomfly
- RiData 150x, 149 at meritline
There are also TopRam 150x, PQI 150x.

A-Data and Transcend cards are quite common among Aximsite users. The others are not or not well known.

Any SD card over 2GB is nonstandard. To answer your question, 2GB is the best and biggest secure digital card.
