Slower and slower flash?
I have a CF card that I use for tv shows. When I first got it, and for the first few shows that I copied to it, it would take about 10min to transfir and write the file.

Now it takes over an hour and a half!

Why?

Fragminataion? Compaction?

Is there something I can run in the background that can keep my card clean so it will always be fast when I want to write a tv show?

Are you transferring through ActiveSync?

You should never transfer large files through ActiveSync. A card reader would be much faster. I transfer all my movies and TV shows through a card reader to my CF card. A two hour movie takes about 1 minute to transfer. I hope this helps.

I'm transfering it when it's in the cradle, but I'm using Resco File Explorer to grab it from a shared folder on my PC. I always do it that way, so it's not a difference in my method.

Anything through the cradle is going to be much slower than through a card reader. I always transfer my large files through the card reader.
You mentioned at first it would take about 10min to transfer and write shows. That is still way too long. A card reader would do all that in under 2-3 minutes.
