What Brand - 2GB High Speed CF?
I have always bought Bytestor High Speed SD and CF cards form my Axim(s), Camera(s) etc. and always been very happy with them and never had any problems.

I need to buy a 2GB High Speed CF card and Amazon have a 2 week wait on them.

I could buy another SD card but I don't want to be swapping all the time.

So, can anyone recommend a make of 2GB High Speed CF cards which are 100% compatible with the X51v, and somewhere reputable which sells them and has stock.

Thanks

Sandisk is quite reputable and they have very good high speed CFs.

I always heard bad things about Sandisk. Do they work well in the X51v?

The only bad thing I've heard about SanDisk are their prizes
I own both CF and SD cards from their Ultra and Extreme series.
Only very nice experiences with both - fast and reliable.

By the way - I'm using them in an Axim X51v

Offhand i'd say that pretty much any manufacturer 2gb SD card will work with the x51v ... coming from observing anecdotal opinions of many posters from many forums.

Really, the well known brand names like Sandisk, Kingston, Patriot Extreme, Transcend .. they will all work. Many others have had good success with Adata which is always cheap.

Personally, I have the Patriot Extreme 2gb High speed and it's fine in my x51v.

I've had good experiences with a 1gb CF and 2 GB SD both from Sandisk on my X50 mid.

Just for the record, I have two Sandisk SD cards, and they are great. My CF card is by Corsair, but I think they only make SD nowadays. It's 4 gigs and 40X, and works wonderfully.

stay away from anything made by PNY. my PNY SD has corrupted twice in the time i've had it, whereas my other SD card, a Kingston, has worked flawlessly from day 1.

Are these any good in x50v or x51v ?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-SEAGATE-4G...QQcmdZViewItem

get alot for the pound !!

Oh and how do you decide how big and which format. Do you get a large CF for films and music and the SD for running programs (its faster isnt it?)

Would 2GB SD (http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/104113) and 4GB (as above link) suffice.

I am looking to buy as well and dont know what, where and how much.
