Transcend 8GB Ultra-Speed 120x CompactFlash Card - Green (TS8GCF120)
Hi All,

Has anybody here used/tested one of these in a X51V (A06) yet?
I am considering buying one for £120 +VAT, but I will not be able to exchange it if it turns out to be incompatible. So I would be grateful for any help/information you can give me.

I have been using the older 80x Transcend for quite a while; a mature card without problems. The 120x should be fine, I often wished I had waited for it :-). The 80x and 120x RiData 8GB cards also came down in price recently. They are $190 around here, and so might be alternatives.

120 quid + VAT, ouch. I don't know how high your VAT is now (19% ?) but with the dollar being as weak as it is now, that price must be over $260.

Just wanted to confirm that the Transcend 8GB CompactFlash (120x) works perfectly in my Axim X51v, the part code is TS8GCF120. It also came with a lifetime warranty (not sure who's lifetime though;-)) instead of the advertised 5 Years... Sweet!

Thanks again to those above who gave me the confidence to buy one...
