Sandisk CF Speed?

Does anyone know the speed of the standard Sandisk CF card.

Looking to buy a new 2GB CF card but can't find speed anywhere - including the Sandisk site. Everywhere just says fast!

Hi,

The SanDisk Ultra is about 80X and the Extreme is about 110X. But this speed is the write speed on the cards, where most others use either the read speed or something in between. This way a SanDisk Ultra (80X) mostly feels faster than an Adata 150X.
If you on the other hand mostly reads from the card - then go for the "faster".
And if you only use the card in an Axim - then any speed above 40X is vaste of money.
