Hitachi 4gb Microdrive install in an X51

I have just instaled my new Hitachi 4gb microdrive in my Axim X51 and when I power it up I receive an unrecognized card message. I am being prompted for the name of the device driver file for the drive. I have been to the Hitachi support site and have found little or no help wit this. Can someone please let me know where I can get the ATADSK.DLL for my X51? I would love to get this to work.

Me to just got 6bg version and im getting exactly the same message, is it worth formatting the card on your pc?, gutted just spent loads on mine.aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

I just bought the Hitach 6GB microdrive from Wolf Camera yesterday and it worked great. The salesman let me put it in my X51v before I bought it and it took about 2-3 seconds and there it was. 5.8GB Free! :)

I'm not sure what would be causing yours not to work. Have you tried a soft reset?

The model of the one I got is MD6GB-BP.

I too have the 6 gig hitachi microdrive. Works great in my x51v. Soft reset was the answer for mine....
