Detection Problem w/Mem Card
Does anybody know how to solve this problem, because everytime I turn off my Axim X50v for a longer period than maybe a few minutes, the CF card just disppears, and I need it because I installed my GPS Guidance Software on it, and so everytime I click on the GPS program, it gives me an error that I can't execute it. So, I have to soft reset my axim, and then it sees it. I have to repeat this over and over again, it's really annoying.

This started occuring when I upgraded (seems more like downgrading) to Mobile 5.

I had the same issues. I solved them by updating my ROM on my X51V to A06 and applying the 'Fake Server Trick' listed as a sticky note on this web site. Since doing those two things last January I have not lost a SD or CF card. These two also solved my battery drain and white screen of death issues. Now my unit is rock solid.

Hi, I have an AXim x50V, and I was wondering where you find the A06 update, because I can only find AO5 on dell.com

he has an X50v though, and I don't think there is a A06 for the X50v, next time try and read through the whole post. (sorry for sounding snotty). Not sure about your problem though, maybe someone with more expierence can help you.
