8GB Micro Drive ST68022CF
Ebay has several of these for $80 plus $10 for shipping if any one is interested. I have one of these and it works with my X51V just fine. BTW I am not the one selling them, just found the buy for us.

Oooh nice but only a 96% seller approval rating. I try to avoid anything below 98%.

I own a seagate 8Gb micro drive
I orignially purchased it from Amazon.com b/c it was on sale for 120 bucks.

But i got 1 --> a little shake, and the thing broke

Amazon is a good company, i went to cust. serv. and i was told to return it in exchange for a another one. So i did.

same thing happend w/ the 2nd one...

Amazon said just to return it and they refunded my money.

But i really needed to have one, so i purchased it again... from amazon. and so far the 3rd time is a charm. So no problems....

i only write this b/c ebay, and the people you deal with on ebay might not be as friendly and complying w/ returns.

One thing about amazon is that return shipping is free. they direct you to a web site you just print out the return lable and i've had no problems.

in fact if they have more specials i'll deal w/ amazon over ebay...

But good luck anyways...

90 bucks is a bargain for 8Gb hard drive.

oh by the way,... i've had no problems w/ transfering files and viewing files etc. It's been an awsome purchase... suddenly my axim is a super minicomputer... i love it.

8gb that's alike man... a whole lot of memory... and believe me it takes a lot to fill it up...

but a bunch of movies in divx formate 400mb a pop ... can do it..

BUYER BEWARE!

I bought one of those (for $60 with shipping) and am playing hell to get it to work (see my thread about "microdrive issues" on this forum) and offically, it's only listed as being compatable with the X50 series. my X5 Advanced so far wont read it (have not gotten it formatted yet) it also DOES NOT FIT IN ALL CF READERS! The Microdrive is 1-2mm taller than a standard CF card so many readers physically cant hold it.

OT: Why use DivX at 400mb when you can use MP4 at 200mb! With no noticable reduction in quality! Use Sony PSP Video converter (FREEWARE!) to make MP4 and TCPMP (SP? check "My PDA" I have both listed) for viewing. I can fit 2 movies on my 512mb card as it is with room to spare!

Not to be a a turd... but Divx is MP4.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divx

However... what PSP uses is MPEG4 Part 10 aka H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, whereas DivX is MPEG-4 Part 2.

Hacked MP4 verses raw MP4... still get 200% bulkier file with DivX than with PSP's MP4

and I appoligize, I was unaware DivX was ...er... borrowing... from the MPEG-4 standard (lol!) Thank you for clearing that up.

I bought mine off ebay and so far so good. It's been working great for close to three months with no problems at all. Seller was really friendly and helpful too.
