Files deleted
I looked and looked and could not find a windows 5.0 or PPC software for undelete or file recovery. I went to radio shack and bought a Dazzle memory card reader. It reads CF and all the others and it was $39. I went online and found a program called File Rescue Plus that works with XP and it located all my deleted files perfectly. You can download the trial version to see and recover files and it cost $29 to purchase the full version. It was pretty expensive but it helped me to recover my precious lost files and that could have been priceless. I guess this is the best way to recover lost files not deleted by my Axim. My wife deleted these files on her digital camera that uses a CF card. I hoped I could use my Axim to recover her files but there is none out there currently. That is why I had to go to the extreme measure I went to. How do I put a recycle bin on my Axim to catch my deleted files?

To add a recycle bin, you will need to use a 3rd party app such as Resco Explorer or Advanced Explorer. However, it will only recover whatever you have deleted with THAT app. So for example, if you deleted something with the built-in File Explorer, it will not show up in Resco's recycle bin.

BTW, I've used an app called Handy Recovery in the past to recover some files. There is a free version that works pretty well:

I found Handy Recovery and it is not a PPC program and it is only for 30 days and it only allows you to recover 1 file a day for a total of 30 recoveries. The program is $30 and you will still need a card reader of some sort. At least it allows 30 freebies, the others I found didn't allow any recoveries only a view of the files you could recover if you paid the price.

No, I never said Handy Recovery was a PPC app - I just mentioned it as an alternative to File Rescue Plus, hence the "BTW". There is an unrestricted freeware version found on this page:
