Hi all. I've seen a bit of talk about the Ritek cards before, but noone that has actually bought one, so I took the plunge.

Just picked up this card from mydigitaldiscount.com last week after debating a long time whether or not to trust a not-so-well-known name product. This is an 8Gb true CF card, flash memory not a Microdrive, so its power consumption should be no more than any flash card. I popped the card in and it was ready to roll with 7.7Gb of usable space.
So far I'm impressed - it seems just as reliable as the 2Gb Sandisk UltraII it replaced. In all the read/write cycles I've put it through so far having loaded and dumped the card several times, and about ~20% faster file transfers on my PC even using my old PCMCIA reader. [When you have 8Gb to fill, any speed boost is noticeable] On my X51v, it has performed just as reliably in playing audio or video files.
Anyone else picked one of these up yet, or from other stores?
