What's your best guess??

I have been wanting a large size card for some time and have been watching price drop. How low do you think the 8 gb SD and CF cards will fall? I have been reading on these forums that as larger cards become more available the price on the 6 and 8 gig cards with drop even more.

The only difficulty with waiting is that the 4 and 8 gb micro drives may not be produced any mote when the larger drives become available. Only used one may be on the market at that time.

That's true, but I prefer the standard cards. I am not confident in the longevity of the microdrives. I think the regular cards should still be available and hopefully, cheaper!

If nothing else bigger comes around I would say that it will probably remains at aroung $250 as a final price. Of course lower if bigger faster card comes around.
