Formatting and changing to FAT32 the storage card

How do I quickly and easily, without installing any additional third-party software, format and change to FAT32 my storage card?
Could you please give the step-by-step?
Thanks!

Oops, never mind! Already done!
Took all of 4 seconds! Of course, it didn't bother that I also happenned to have a memory card reader..
So I just did the same thing as if it were a floppy diskette - right-click on the storage card > choose Format > here choose FAT32 > et voila!

Thats the same process for any external memory source that Windows finds, memory card, micro drive or hard drives.

if I insert an SD card into the PDA, will I be able to see it from Window's explorer and format it like an external storage?

reason I'm asking is I don't have those memory card reader.

You will be able to see it from Windows Explorer, using ActiveSync, but you will not be able to format the card. You need a card reader for that.

As for FAT32 vs. FAT16, FAT32 will save you a little space, but it is slower. If your FAT32-formatted card seems unacceptably slow, try reformatting FAT16; you may lose something like 5MB on a 1GB card, but it will be speedier.
