Memory Confusion?

I currently have a Sandisk basic model 4gb CF card and don't know if it is worth upgrading to a 8gb RItek or pqi card and if the speed will make a difference.
Another option i would like to play with would be to buy a Sandisk SD Plus USB 1gb card to use for all around transfers and stick with my slow CF.
Any ideas?

I have a 8gb CF Seagate micro drive and a 512mn SD Sandisk card. Both work well with my X51V and I have both installed. For large transfering of file to both cards I use a card reader. It really speeds transfering. About the only thing I transfer internally for my X51V would be the 'My Documents' folder. I make a copy of it on my SD card at the end of each day right after my final PC sync.
