got a 8gb trans CF, first one was bad. format and corrupted. any files copy into it will eventually be full after 200 mb of data, then fat system is damaged. format again and test, fail. any files copyied under 200 mb with a chkdsk will report corrupted lost chains.
Got a "new" 8gb trans. exchanged. Newer one works a bit better because it now copies over 200mb, however, over time, data becomes corrupted once again. chkdsk reveals lost chains. If chkdsk isn't done, then playing mp3 files will reveal bits and pieces of music being played from different files:
