Card not detected after soft power down

I have a SD card in my x51v that works fine. It's a Kingston 2gb card, regular SD. The applications have no problem loading from it.

When I do a suspend on my x51v and also lock it with the slide button on the left, something strange happens.

The problem is after I press the power button again to wake it up. The SD card, which has been in the slot all this while, disappears from the file system. Using file explorer, I can't find it. All the programs I've stored on the SD card can't load either... all their icons become the default exe icon.

However, when I do a hard power off and on again, the SD card is detected fine.

This problem only occurs with the soft power off. Does anyone know what's wrong?

This happened a lot with people before they updated their X51 / X51V to the A012 Rom. What ROM version are you running? If it is anything less then A012 then update as this will probably fix the problem. Hope this helps!
