help Partition SDcard

Iwould like to know how to partition a 2gb sd card so as to have 2 1 gb partitions as my mp220 only seems to read 1gb of data leaving the last 1gb of data unavailable or unused.

any help is appreciated 9oh and make it idiot proof please i'm a moron)

I just tested it, and the SD Card with two primary partitions worked fine on my PC, but on my X51V it didn't work at all...

Got to the registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/StorageManager/Profiles
And change the value "AutoPart" from "0" to "1"; Your partitions on your SD Card will show up as "SD Card" and "SD Card2".
Reboot the Axim.

Yes, I can do it on my X51V. Don't know about your device, though.
I used fdisk in linux to partition the SD Card and then changed the above registry value on the pda.
