I recently purchased two memory cards that were advertised as "150X fastest cards available". They are represented as being made by Samsung.
When I received them I found:
1. The 4GB SD card did not work at all.
2. The 8GB CF card seemed to be rather slow. So I tested it and then decided to test the 4 different large capacity cards that I had available. The results are shown below. Draw your own conclusions.
3. The 4GB SD card and the 8GB CF cards, Samsung, were purchased from FASTMemoryMan, at

Test results running Pocket Mechanic in a Dell Axim X51v
to test CF storage cards with processor speed set to max @ 624 Mhz
Can't deny that there is a significant difference between different cards. These tests show only relative speed in my Axim X51v not any absolute speed.
