Mad Cf Card Tests Using Pocket Mechanic

I recently purchased two memory cards that were advertised as "150X fastest cards available". They are represented as being made by Samsung.

When I received them I found:
1. The 4GB SD card did not work at all.
2. The 8GB CF card seemed to be rather slow. So I tested it and then decided to test the 4 different large capacity cards that I had available. The results are shown below. Draw your own conclusions.
3. The 4GB SD card and the 8GB CF cards, Samsung, were purchased from FASTMemoryMan, at www.emartbuy.com

Test results running Pocket Mechanic in a Dell Axim X51v
to test CF storage cards with processor speed set to max @ 624 Mhz

Can't deny that there is a significant difference between different cards. These tests show only relative speed in my Axim X51v not any absolute speed.

Draw your own conclusions

The first problem is where you bought the cards.
The second problem....please refer to the first problem.

Please don't tell us you paid what he has listed on his site.....

FYI: PQI isn't a high quality card to begin with (or manufacturer if you will).
Just check out his "reviews" that he actually posted:

And if you can't read the text, just look here.

Mad CF Card Test

When I puchased the 8 gb CF card it was advertised as a 150X speed, and was advertised as a Samsung card, and the "fastest card" which it was not.

I did at least expect the SD card to work - and it did not.

I posted the results "for others" not to get trapped.
