Axim X30H
Transcend Secure Digital 4GB (No Speed) Works Fine
OCZ Secure Digital 2GB 150X. Works Fine
AE&C 4GB 133X. Must use ROM A06 on Axim X30H or else it will repeatedly ask to format.

I purchased a sandisk Ultra XL 4.0 GB HD card and it does not show in File Explorer. It would have been nice but I'm using it for my digital camera so all is not lost.
Right now I have a 1GB Kingston SD in my Axim x3i. It works fine.

HD Card? I think your referring to SD cards.
Update on
AE&C 4GB 133X Secure Digital Card
The PDA reads the 4GB as a 2GB card.

Thanks so much. I remember when certain posters hesitated on using large size cards and I was afraid to build my music and photo collection. Boy, is the Axim great.

This may be the best place to ask the question.
When people report that a card works (for a certain PDA), do they
merely mean they can do Read/Write accesses to it, or do they at
least have confirmation that the PDA device tested can access all
the storage? :P
According the dialogue between Dell support and one poster here,
it seems Dell claimed that, e.g. Axim x51v (or its cousins), can only
support 4GB. To me, it could mean you can still plug a 8/16-GB CF
card to the slot, though only 4GB is available.
I'm currently in the market to get a larger CF storage, but would need
to see this resolved before I decide on a card type.

Do you mean SDHC? Those aren't compatible with the Axim's. Not unless Dell puts out a new firmware
