cheap Markvision 16 gb SDHC reported to work properly on Axim X51v running WM6.1 (Makuu's A06 Classic) :)
This thread was set up to discuss cards that natively worked with the Axim. SDHC do not natively work in the Axim. It requires upgrading the firm ware or using a SDHC driver that is not intended for the Axim; both of which could be potentially HAZARDOUS to your Axim. That is why the SDHC cards are not being documented here. Thanks for your input.

Pardon my ignorance but can someon explain why the SDHC cards won't work on the Axim x51v. I just bought a SanDisk 16gb SDHC for my wife's only to discover it doesn't work.
I've posted on another thread that apparently I have a 4Gb U-TEK Supreme SDHC card that works OK in my Dell Axim X50v, on WM2003SE and accepts pictures from my Nikon Coolpix S1 camera, even though it is well over the capacity the camera instructions say it will accept. I've seen a lot of the threads about Axims not accepting SDHC, am I just imagining things. So far it has loaded all 3.5Gb of my iTunes library, and I'm just going to load a iTunes film and try playing it with TCPMP. 4Gb of memory, with 250Mb per film gives me a whopping 15 films on just that one card. I formatted it to FAT32 on my Dell Latitude using a Sandisk MobileMate SD+ adapter. Any ideas?
Just to confirm, I loaded an iTunes video onto the U-Tek 'SDHC' card yesterday and it plays it fine. The only thing this SD card does not seem to be recognised by is the integral SD card reader in my (work) Dell D430. My Macbook, Dell latitude, Axim X50v and Nikon S1 camera all see the card fine

I can't remember exactly where I got the driver from but if you do a search on Microsoft's site you will find a driver that will allow your Dell to recognize the SD Card.
Recently bought 16GB x133 CF card from mymemory.com their own brand for 21GBP (half price pre-Xmas). Got 10GB of audio & video on it already, & working beautifully.
Previously used 1GB CF by DANE-ELEC & 4GB x120 CF by Transcend without problems.
haven't tried larger SD cards but 128MB Lexar works fine :-)
I have:
Nokia MicroSD with Adaptor - Perfect No Problems
Datasafe 521MB MiniSD with Adaptor - Perfect No Problems
Integral 256MB SD - Perfect No Problems
Nokia Branded 128MB MiniSD with Adaptor - Perfect No Problems
