Hi, anybody has used the 4GB Kingstom SD Card, I saw on the list the 2GB Kingstom but not the 4GB, Im interested in get one of those because I have 2 2GB Kingstom SD, and they're very stable. But I wanna know if the 4 Gb will work as good as the 2Gb. Thanks.

OK, so I didn't read up enough, and have hit the 1Gb limit on the X5. Apart from the fact I can only use half the card it does still work great. Think I'll be swapping my 2Gb for a couple of 1Gb's and putting up with the hassle of swapping around...

I need to amend my original post to agree with some of the other posters. Bought another one of these a couple weeks ago, and had real problems with it until I used Pocket Mechanic to low level format it. Took about 4 hours, now seems to be working fine.

These cards seem to be hit and miss right out of the box. Be wary of putting any crucial data on them until a break-in period.

I just purchased a 2gb CF and a 2gb SD with the SUPER TALENT labels, never
heard of them before but they work 100%.
I picked them up at Factory Direct.ca $35.00 for the CF and $20.00 for the SD.

Hi there,

I have a 2GB SanDisk Extreme III which works perfectly fine with my laptop's cardreader, but doesn't work in my Axim x51v. The Axim shows a card present, but shows it as empty, even though there's lots of data on it. When copying things from rom to card with the Axim, it seems to work, but the files aren't accessible. When using the cardreader in the laptop afterwards, it only shows junk on the card.

Just got off the phone with Dell Technical Support... They told me that the Axims support SD-cards up to 1GB. Any card bigger than 1GB can work, but problems are likely to arise when using "high-speed" cards.

I've got a Sandisk Extreme III 4GB CF card, and it's perfect (X51V A12). Much faster than a transcend SD card (150x). There are loads of fake Sandisk cards, though.
