Integral 4Gb SD card? Response requested in next 45 min

Hi,

My Ridata 4Gb SD card just crapped out on me and I need the Axim for a trip ASAP. The only 4Gb SD card I can find for a reasonable price is the Integral from Maplin in the UK.

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?...96GL&DOY=30m12

Anyone had any experience with these in the Axim x51v. Needless to say, not going with Ridata again!

thanks,

i can see no reason why it would not work.

but no, i have no personal experience with them.

i guess by the title you need this urgently from a brick and mortar store, but if i am wrong www.7dayshop.com has cheap memory cards that i can tell you first hand are reliable

hope that helps

Right, I need brick and mortar ASAP and can't wait for shipping. However, I don't want to buy complete crap if that's what Integral is. Plus, 50lbs for 4Gb is not too bad actually.

That's one heavy card!

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I don't know anything about that card that would help either.

So, is your Ridata 4GbSD a crap too? My same card is working fine until I use it below 2Gb on that card with x51v. But it becames a **** when I am trying to copy 3-4Gb to that card in x51v.
I even affraid that it is not possible to write more 2Gb to SD on x51v for any SD card.

My 4Gb Ridata SD card worked perfectly for the past ~8 months or so. Then a week ago, I put it in my x51v and the card was not recognized so I re-seated it and it worked fine. The same thing happened 2 days ago and got me thinking uhh-ohh. Today I can not get my x51v or SD card reader to recognize the card, while others do work. Great! I did not back anything up....

It appears others have similar problem. Reading the threads here and the reviews at newegg indicate the Ridata is no good.

Ohh, and I usually had around 3.5Gb stored on the card no problem.
