4gb card not recognised

I got a x51 in may last year. I naively got a peak PEAK 4gb SD2 card expecting it to work. When I insert the card and go to settings > memory > storage card it says Not Installed. I guessing this is to do with formatting and the file system? Is there any saving grace or have I royally messed up?

When you say, SD2 does that mean SD specification 2.0? If so, then I don't believe the card is compatible with the Axim.

Yep SD 2.0. My understanding (possibly wrong) was that all cards 4gb and above were SD 2.0. I also understand that not all cards are are FAT32.

Edit I just read some thing on SDHD, which is what it says on the card, not looking good :(

SDHD is not compatible with X51v.
