Installing on SD Card - without Program Files subfolder!

Hi,

Is there a way to install my programs onto the SD Card directly - without the subfolder Program Files?
I used to be able to do it like that on my X30...

Meaning - each program will still be in its own subfolder, but located directly in the root, no "Program Files" folder!

I used CabInstal to customize my installation folders. I believe the installation path is integrated into the program code if you use the Windows installer through ActiveSync.

Nice to see you around, wooch! :)

I also use Cabinstl in the same way. However, I'm not sure how compatible it is with WM5.

my opinion is that you shouldnt do that. an SD card only allows a certain number of folders in the root directory. if you have too many some will start to disappear. unless all you have on it is program folders then you probly want a Program Files folder.
