SD Card causes hangup

Since I installed a 1gB SanDisk SD card in my X51 I have had a problem. After turning the PDA "off" I have to do a soft reset to get it back on. At first this happend occasionally, but lately it has happened almost every time I turn it off. Day before yesterday I tried an experiment. After turning the unit off I pop the SD card out. When I'm ready to turn it back on I put it back in. The unit comes on instantly when the card is reinserted. No more hang up.

Any ideas or suggestions for anyone???

try formating the sd card.

It is odd that the problem did not occur until after I had used the SD card for several weeks.

How do I format it?

I used pocket mechanics.
try the trial version.
I has to use this program when I switched from Palm to Axim.
It's worth a shot.
