Keymem 4GB Compact Flash - AximX51v compatibility

Hi all,

Does anyone know if a Keymem 4GB CF card may be compatible with an Axim X51v (A06). unfortunately, I have no image of the card nor do I have the exact model number of the card, all I know is that it is a Keymem card is using Toshiba flash memory!

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

Just bought one from 7day. It's a 'KeyMem 4GB 133x CF Card'. I'm no expert, but it appears to be working fine in my X50v.

Hope that helps.

I got one of those cards from 7day as well, it works just dandy. Got a 4GB CF as well, also doing the business in my X51V.

The keyman card uses a Toshiba chip, works fine. If you do not require fast read and write to card then the basic version at £16.49 (7 dayshop) would be okay.

i dont want to worry anyone but the one i got stopped working after only 2 uses when i tried to copy my music and videos. it worked fine but kept locking up as the week wore on. finally it gave up the ghost when i left it connected inside my card reader copying files and it wasnt working at all in the morning.had to return it and get a refund. i have ordered a transcend cf card for 30 pounds. hopefully it will be reliable. most people havent had a problem with it but just wanted to let people know its not faultless.

does anyone know if it damages the card if its left connected to the reader overnight? would like to know so i dont blow the new card too :(
