SD Card Problems
I am a relatively new Axim user and still trying to figure this out. I transfered pictures from my camera to my Axim x51v SD card using someone else's laptop. I put them on a 2 GB SD card. I can view the files on my axim, but I can't pull the pictures up or transfer them back to the laptop. I put the card in my laptop card reader and the laptop asks whether or not I want to format the card. I don't know if formatting the card erases the contents or not.

Does anyone have suggestions on how I can pull the pictures off this card? They are each about 820 KB. I have 128MB memory on my axim.

Thanks

If you format the card you will lose the Photos.

It sounds like the card reader you are using is a slightly older one that isn't recognising the card properly.

Try a different card reader, or use active sync to transfer the photos to your Laptop.

If the card is in your axim, and you dock the axim, you should be able to pull the information off the card that way. You would simply go in through active sync, click on the "explore" option, open the "My Windows Mobile-Based Device". Look for SD Card, or whatever the card may be called, on mine it's siled as SD Card though, double click on that. That puts you on the card, you should be able to navigate your way to the pictures and go from there.

If you format the card, you lose everything, so you will want to wait to do that until after you have removed the pics from it.

Good Luck!

SD Card Problems
I have tried to move the pictures, even within my device, and it gives me an error that that access is denied, the file is not set as read-only, and that you have permission to copy this file type.

Anyone have any ideas? The card is a Sandisk SD 2 GB card.

Thanks
