Adorama is a legit store with a retail presence.
Just saw this post today and the price is really sweet. Tempting.

Ordered mine from Beach Camera (I am tempted for replacing Beach for something more appropriate for that price move). Since Adorama doesn't have it anymore (they were not sure of date for backorders shipping)... no other option at all. US$159 after SanDisk rebate.

Adorama price is now $299.95, making it $169.95 after rebate. Still OOS, tho. lol.
Update: Now back in stock, but still $169.95.

The obvious question since I don't see this on the thread or on the compatibility list....is it compatible with the X51v or are you guys buying this for other devices?

It is compatible and I finally got mine this weekend. Loaded it up and it works great. When comparing it to my 4 gb Hitachi Microdrive the sandisk is thinner and I no longer need some tape hanging out of top of my x51v!

This might be a stupid question but just curious: is Out Of Stock an issue? If you order it 'today', will Sandisk give you a hard time about only -receiving- it after 3 weeks, somewhere in june?
And additionally: anyone know a shop that has it IN STOCK and 'as cheap as possible'?
Beach Camera: In Stock! $399. -sigh-

I ordered it on 5/6 and it became out of stock that coming Monday. Their website does not show amount in stock. It took them 2 weeks to get some in and ship it out but I did get it and it works great. Per the rebate it must be purchased between 5/1/7 and 5/31/7. Rebate must be postmarked by 6/31/7. Hey $242 total cost with shipping - $130 mailin rebate = $112 for 16GB not bad.
It is now going for 299 so it is still cheaper then Beach

So basically, does that mean it is likely to have "fallen from the back of a lorry"?... so to speak.
