the card is a little bit slow on writing (using Sandisk Imagemate)

Is it worth buying a card that is worth as much as the device is now worth, or should I just opt for a new smartphone and save my money for expensive micro SD cards in high capacities?

go for it if your pda has CF slot
a whooping 16GB is not easy to get (that's why I get HX2495 instead of RX5915, no matter it has built-in GPS)

I went ahead and purchased this from NewEgg to replace my SanDisk Extreme II. The slowness is negligible between those two cards. I am very satisfied with this new card as it is perfect for me. I need a lot of permanent storage as I use this for remote teaching. Lots of audio and video that stays on this device. I can now put all of it on the card along with all the other regular stuff (programs, games, etc.).

This leaves my SD cards completely blank - perfect for rotating media like MP3s; movies and everything else I'll want to change out. Thanks again to the one who 'found' or posted this. My life just got a bit more happier. . . :)

The A-Data card has gone back in price to $130. I'm expecting one shortly.

Looks like it is now $107.79 after a $20 rebate. Rebate expires 9/30

Thats a great price, but I am leary of the Adata cards. there have been plenty of people who have had problems with them.

it works fine on my HX2495b, just slow on writing
but this card is mainly used for storing audio files, not big deal
