Ipaq RX3715 Ipaq file store can't format, delete, rename file

I have rx3715 i have problem
i can't delele or rename any file in IPAQ file store , I can't format IPAQ file store. I can read or copy any file but can't write in IPAQ file Store

I was down to 1.0.0.1 rom or update to 1.01.06
I was hard reset

But it don't changer when i write in Ipaq file store my IPAQ not run and need restart to use again

Your iPAQ File Store may have gotten screwed up somehow. If you goto Start -> Settings -> System you will see a Format Storage icon. This will reformat the File Store. Have you tried that?

i was format with many tool but can't do

Hey.... I noticed that these problem is occuring to alot of rx3715 users including myself. The symptoms:
IPAQ freezes when you try to delete, add new files, cut, or format the IPAQ File Store. So far in my own observation, those who reported this were those who recently updated their unit to the latest v1.0.16 ROM, and the symptoms are exactly the same. Could it be that the ROM did all these?
It's abit hard to tell because the ROM update does not immediately corrupts the file store. Only after much use for about 1 week or 2 weeks that you will get the error.

I use the HP rx3715. I have same problem also.

I can browse, open and use the content save in the Ipaq File Store, but I can't to delete, save, modify the content inside it. If I do it, the IPaq hang.

I have try to format, delete the content and hard reset the IPaq but still can't work.

same here. this is the 2nd unit that i locked my file store.

The first one was return to the shop, and then he exchange me for another one. Now, less than 2 weeks, the file storage was locked up again. jeez!!!

same are running on 1.00.10B.

whops! I've got a HX4700 with files in the iPAQ File Store that can not be deleted. And I tried to format it with lots of tools unsucessfully!

I've been searching for System/Format Storage, but I think that the HX4700 doesn't have it in their defaul settings.

Anyone seem to see a trend happening? All of the iPaq's with the problem are the ones with the 128 megs of ROM. Does anyone know if Axim's are having similar issues on the versions with 128 megs as well?

YES , I have updated to 1.01.10 and got that bug !
the thing i understand :
NEVER DO A ROM UPGRADE !

The fix to your problem is in my "My PDA" section and it has been a big issue with the RX1795 and there is a whole thread devoted to it.
