Ok so I got that saweet deal on the ipaq 3955 with a 256mb sd card.... it worked fine
my 3850 has a 1gb sd
so I formatted the 1gb and put it into the 3955
formatted the 256 and put in the 3850
the 3850 sees both as I formatted them both with the 3850
however
3955 wont read either now
well this is what I do know..
3955 has 2002
3850 has 2003 (i upgraded it)
so I dont want to upgrade the 3955 as then my network card wont work.. not like that is a big deal... my 3com card doesnt have 2003 drivers...
so I put the card into a sd card reader and re-formatted quick and non quick and yes fat 16 for both..... still no go...
I may just have to upgrade and not care about the network card. I dont use it but I wanted to play with the looking for wireless networks in my area... there are a few so would like to keep it...
what do you think I could try?
pocket mechanic flat out doesnt see the card in the 3955 but does in the 3850.... since i put the trial on both I got a few days to toy with it....
