MiniSD -> SD = ssllllloooowwww???

Am I doing something wrong here? I have a motoQ, which, sadly, uses the MiniSD format. so, I bought MiniSD cards and coppied all my files over, thinking I'd be able to use it as my primary PDA (LOL!!!!!! *sarcastic*) but anyway, I now have 3, 2gb miniSD cards that I slide into miniSD->SD converters and pop into my Axim.

I've noticed what seems to be a slower speed in accessing the card, and some movies will not play off it, but play off the CF or another SD card fine...

Is this inherant in converting form MiniSD to SD? or.....?

I am using a micro sd to mini sd on my 8125 and the speeds dont seem too hot either

you can benchmark ur card with sk tools

i just bought a ultra ii mini sd card so when it gets here im gonna bench it

Where do I get SK Tools? IS it a free download somewhere...?

goolge sktool.
it will cost. But it one tool that is a must have.
Try the trial and see.
Format the card also, it does make the card go faster.
