Is it me or am I missing something here? As far as I understand with this driver you can use 4GB of a bigger (ie more than 4GB) SDHC card in a x51v with WM5. Although that is clearly a step in the desired direction doesn't the original SDHC/CF adapter still offer a greater advantage at this stage, that is you can use all of the available memory on a 8 or more SDHC card?

i think this got a bit off the topic. the drivers were to use a SDHC card in the SD socket... as well as using one in a convertor in the CF socket....

Well I took the plunge and bought the item (see link below) and it works. I have all 8GB of a 8GB SDHC card working in my CF card slot. Only very minor hassle is removing it from the slot (have to remove the SD card from its slot in order to grip it from both sides). Otherwise it works a treat!

JOBO - mini Adapter für SD/SDHC auf CF (SE9108)*Secure Digital (SD) / SDHC auf Compact Flash (CF)

thanks for the confirmation that these work... as for getting it out try the tape trick.. i have to do it on my CF microdrive to remove it... carefully put some tape over the top of the cf card leaving a small tab to pull on. i used some 5mm leukosilk tape... some type of medical tape.... works a treat .

With shipping it comes out closer to US$50. As I said before I bought it so it allowed the full use of the SDHC card in the axim plus I can use it in other devices that are only SD (not CF) card compatible.

I found a similar item on Ebay. SDHC to CF II adaptor. Vendor is Giga City. I'll post when I get the item. My 16gb sdhc class 6 A-Data card arrived today. My older sd to CFII adaptor did not work with the new SDHC card.
