Weird SD card problem

I have two Elite Pro 4 GB SD cards and I am having a very strange problem. I am using them for movie storage on my Axim x51v. I load the card up with about 3 videos and everything works great, this is about 1.5 to a little over 2 GB of space. Anything further my card reader will write, but it will not be playable from either my axim or my laptop (via card reader). I have tried copying the videos from a USB card reader and thru the Axim cradle while the SD card is in the axim, both times the same problem occurs. The first few video files will play, and anything after will not. I have tried reformatting the cards and it seems to make no difference.

What file system are you selecting when you format the SD card?

For a 4GB card, you should be using FAT32.

Its probably because its "hidden" memory on the card. This happen with one of my 4GB SD Cards. When you check it, the PDA can only see a max of 2GB. However, my PC can see 4GB. If I put anything past the 2GB, it cannot be found on the PDA. So basically, it does exist, however the PDA is unable to access the card. My PC however, can. So basically your PDA can only access 2GB of the 4GB and the PDA assumes that the card only has 2GB. Soultion: Get another card. I use Transcend and it works.
