Huge CF Memory Price Drop

I was just on the Newegg site and noticed a huge drop in prices on Compact Flash Memory cards. All cards have $4.99 shipping.

Price 1/16/08: $69.99, 1/17/08: $53.99 + S/H $16 drop $3.69/GB

Transcend 16GB 133X CF
Price 1/16/08: $84.99, 1/17/08: $75.99 + S/H $9 drop $5.06/GB

A-DATA 32GB 40X CF
Price 1/16/08: $149.99, 1/17/08: $130.99 + S/H $19 drop $4.25/GB

Very tempting at these prices to upgrade from my current 8GB CF.

I just got an 8gb back in december and now the 16gb is cheaper. If i would have known that this huge price drop would happen i would have waited.

I guess thats what happens when u buy flash memory. U can never get a good deal, b/c the price goes down the next week.

Prices on electronics and computer stuff almost always drops after the first of the year. :)

The last two PCs I bought were nearly half price in February. :approve:
