SD Card Wants To Pop Out When Inserted
In my X51v I inserted one SD card for another and as I inserted the SD card, it felt as if there was a spring loading pushing it out - hence it won't seat all the way down. I've inserted SD cards many times, so I know it was facing correctly sliding down its grooves on the side. I can't see any of the 5 or 6 pins that might be bent, they are all oriented the same.

Is there some trigger or blocking tab in there because I see a little black tab extending form the side in the cavity slot where the pins are.

Any help would be appreciate.

Well, I think I will be answering my own question. I always had inserted the SD card and carefully pull it out. What I didn't know is that if you apply a little downward pressure, it is spring loaded and it will slide out enough for you to get a good hold of it to pull out the rest of the way. Then when you put the card in again, just press down enough till a little click is heard and it locks in place. After 3 years - I guess live and learn.
