100GB CF Card!!!

Hey guys,

Check this out... a 100GB CF card with 35m/s reading and 25m/s write speeds by Pretec. This is the largest CF card in the world! Unbelievable!!! It also seems like it is available to buy. I can't wait to get this guy.

I don't see 100GB. Just 64GB...
As time progress, there is no doubt we'll see gigantic flash memory cards.

Sorry, the link I gave was for the 64GB CF card, it seems like the 100GB is not out for production just yet, but Pretec did in fact release their 100GB. I think the price I gave above was for the 64GB card. The 100GB CF price is not specified, so it will probably be more than the 64.

I know, $400 for a CF card is a lot, but I do not think that many people will buy them now, they will wait until the card is about $100. NOTE: The 32GB A-Data card from newegg.com is now $67!! Amazing, I remember when it was $180, and it wasn't that log ago. Iv'e been saying, the flash buisness can't be a good buisness right now, prices have dropped so much that now a 2GB SD card is thrown in the "junk pile" at the Fry's electronics.

Yeah, but wow! But the only device that uses CF that I own is the Axim. So $400? Definitely not a buyer...
