lost images on sd card

Hi, I have recently returned from holiday using a DaneElec 1.0 gb SD card.
Some of the early photos I took have disappeared, although they were there to start with.
I have tried a CardRecovery, to no avail. Does this happen often?
Any ideas,solutions welcome. RH.

Hello, try Undelete Mobile and/or ScanDisk Mobile. The first product will recover any deleted files on the card while the second will check for errors and will attempt to fix them. Both products come with 30-day trial version and can be downloaded from our web site (see signature below).
