What is the maximum card storage capacity for the x50v with Windows Mobile 2003?
I've searched the forums, and cannot seem to find a definitive answer to the above question.
Can anybody help, or guide me to a reliable source for this information?
Please reply for SD and CF.
No one actually answered the OP in full, the X50v should support a 2GB card at original specs, but a bug that was never really addressed by dell, only let the x50v read the 2gig cards a 1 gig.

My x50v can use the available capacity of the 2GB SD card - that is 1.89GB

MY x50 mid still has A01 on it and it reads all 2gb of a 2gb card. Was this a v series problem only. I know older axims like the x5 have this problem.

I know some people won't believe this, but I bought a 4GB SD (not SDHC) card about 2 years ago, but when it arrived it had SDHC on the label. I tried to return it, to no avail and eventually opened it to try it. And it works. My Axim X50v, 2003SE ver A05, sees all 3830 MB, and it plays the videos / music through TCPMP no problem. It is a U-Tek Supreme card, labelled SDHC but in reality an SD card. Go figure, but neat.

Well you got what you ordered then. I imagine this was a manufacturing mistake. The factory workers probably didnt know the difference between sd and shdc, and when they were manufacturing 4gb sd cards grabbed the nearest 4gb stickers, even though they were sdhc stickers.
