SD Card Wright Protected

Hi guys, i´m new here... so
i´ve got a SD Card with 512mb, somehow the little white switch thats can wright protected the card has broken up.

The problems is: now i can´t put neigther erase files to and from the SD Card.

Please Help me..... thanks

A broken write-protect switch should not prevent you from reading the card. If you can't read from it, then it's probably a corrupted card.

the thing is, can ready from the card, but i cannot format the card either save more files in the card.

Then it sounds like the card is good, but the lock switch is stuck in the locked position and is protecting data.

What i would do, is get your files transferred off, and then look for a new card, since they are cheap nowadays. I understand that the lock switch is broken so it will never work to write to again, unless you can somehow get the switch working again. You can get a 2GB card on sale for around $5 online.
