On the face of it, it looks like a VirtualPC environment that is self-contained on the thumbdrive on a standalone launcher.
Nice idea... I MUST TEST THIS.... muhahahahahah
The biggest concern would be the size/speed of the thumbdrive. I've booted plenty of versions of USB optimized BartPE and Linux environments from USB drives and the performance of the drive itself make a HUGE difference... especially if we are utilizing HUNDREDS of MB of data at a time
