Memory Card Corrupted

is there any hope? I stuck my 1G mini sd into it's adapter and then into the card reader on my PC. I tried to open a couple of times and then it scrambled itself and now neither my phone or my PC will read it.
Is it time to reformat and start over?

Best bet is to format it into FAT, I had loads of problems with my 2Gb microSD when it was in FAT32, now it is in FAT, not had any problems. Give it a try.

Finally formatted this card. Fat 32 I believe. Used Pocket Mechanic. Interesting result. I am copying all the info from the card, from a folder on my desktop, back into the card. I had to put the card into the phone and use active stync because when i put it in the card reader i got a pop up message saying, card not ready, either drive door is open or .... something, I forget what. Any thoughts?

And my sprite back up is not working...
so know I get to reload
and i've lost phone numbers :(
