CompactFlash Card Question

I just got my X50v and was looking in the manual aboout memory cards. It said "Your device supports CompactFlash Type II cards." I looked around and most said type I or didn't said what type it was. Can anyone clear this up for me. Thanks Merrill

The type II is thicker or/and wider that the other. I don't own an X50 but I think you manual will tell you if it is accepting both types. Check the included thread or search for Type II CF card.

It accepts both, type I and II cards. Currently I am using a type I card in my x50v which is thinner then my microdrive which is a type II.

Thanks, for the clarification Hendrixus. Is the Type II just hicker than the type I?
