SD vs MMC
been here for sometime, i realised that while everyone talks about grabbing SD/CF cards, MMC never gets mentioned.

does anyone use a MMC for their axims at all? is there any difference between MMC & SD that i should be aware of? apart from the fact that SD has a little write protect thing that is missing in MMC, i don't really know whats the difference. SD more reliable maybe?

prices seems to be approx the same of both cards of same capacity.

beside the fact that i can use my MMC with both my nokia 6230 & x50v, is there any real benefits of MMC?

I found a nice little site, called Gizmobytes, which describes the differences between the two memory card formats, which should answer your question. You might also want to check out Dave's PDA Place. The pricing and capacity limit data is outdated, but the tech specs ring true.

Hope you find this information enlightening.

Memory prices
If you are interested in pricing, I found a site called buy.com that seems to have good prices if you wait and look.
