Is there such an adapter???

I have a digital camera that uses CF cards, and the Axim x30H that uses SD cards.....My question is simply this: Is there are adapter that would allow me to use CF cards with my Axim X30 H??? (somewhat along the lines of using a PCMCIA adaptor with various sorts of cards that would otherwise not be able to used in a laptop).... So you would have : CF Card-->Adapter--->SD socket on Axim

TIA If it exists I figure someone here would know about it:approve::approve:

Patience isn't just a virtue here it's a requirement. The flamewar days seem to be over in Pocket PC Land. I think microsoft's requiring OEM's to all start using ARM compatible chips among other things for their devices to be called Pocket PC's made all the difference.

Cf-sd

David,

I understand your delima. I have the X5 with both ports and I think it's great! I bought a 5/6 to 1 card adapter that will allow me to quickly drag & drop from any memory card to another. The drawback is that I have to be connected to a laptop/pc USB for powering the device. It costed me about $6.00 and with a short USB cable attached that folded inside the casing and a longer USB cable for longer extensions. I 'Copy/Move' my digital pix onto my PDA in that manner (my digital camera uses SD cards). I use my CF slot for my BT card that I bought for $1.55 on Ebay.

Good luck,
