poll: hows your 1G kingmax sd card?

I've got mine yesterday so I cannot say much at this time. It is very fast as advertised, but it is also very thin. It still fits into card readers and the sd slot, but you worry about breaking it. It also takes more thought and effort to insert it into readers due to its thin form.

Mine works so well, I ordered a 256MB version just for backups.

I actually returned my Kingmax sd card. I travel alot and it was too unreliable to trust. I kept getting reformat message. I think it is too thin to maintain contact.

i don't think its the thickness part, i inserted it in my cardreader and its snug, after a night i get that prompt as well

my 1gb kingmax mmc works fine in the axim, go figure (its for my nokia phone)

Well, I got the Platinum 1GB 60x card...and its given me nothing but trouble. I format it...it works..then I leave my Axim off for 2 hours..and when i turn it on again it asks me whether I want to format the card.

Its been driving me nuts. I can't even return it now

I wouldn't recommend it.

I had to send mine back also. it worked for a month then could not read it in x30 or card reader,,,

I've been using a KingMax 1GB ultra for the past few weeks with no problems. It's a bit thinner than other SD cards but it still fits snugly. Maybe it's hit or miss like some of the other cards?

Wow I ordered a 1gig from new egg too, I hope I get one of the good ones LOL other wise it's going right back. Doesn't kingmax have a 5 year warenty? Can't you send it to them or something?
