Software RAID 0 on PPC

Hellos!

I was wondering if anyone thought of the possibility of having a CF 1GB card as well as a SD 1GB card linked together with software raid. This solution will be much cheaper than a 2GB card. Other advantages include having 2 x 4GB cards for a total of 8GB. Speedwise I dont think it will yield better results but to get a cheap high GB soultion it must be a good idea? :approve:

Problems include the difference in speed of these two card mediums (SD vs CF) and the difference in accessing speeds from the device between the two.

Any of the bright people out there think this is possible? Anyone wants to attempt writing something like this? I will be a glad tester!
