Anyone using Transcend 4GB CF Card

Newegg has it for $299. Anyone has used it?

Why spend so much on this when you can pick up the Hitachi for $169. (retail version)

Although I'm with you, nirwoc, I can see the benefit for faster read speed and far better power consumption.

However, you could buy 8 batteries for the price difference...or 6 batteries and a second charger...

I already have the 4gb Hitachi. It has performed well in my Canon cameras, iPAQ 2210, and now X50v. A couple of times recently it seemed to have reading/writing problems. So I think maybe its time has come after about 2 years and I need to be prepared. A 4gb CF card will be a good replacement.

So no-one has used it then? I couldn't find out if it is a type 1 or 2 CF card and wondered if anybody knows
