storage card....

I;m going to buy in the next couple of days some storage card and I need your opinion before that...

there is really a diffrent between 1GB SanDisk CompactFlash to 1GB High-Speed Ultra II CompactFlash ?

another thing from your exprience should I buy 2GB card or 1GB should be enough? (i'm going to use it mostly for music,movies etc.)

The Ultra cards are faster. If you are using a card reader or if you will ever use a CF camera then you'll notice. In your Axim you may not.

I would pay a modest premuim for the speed increase (maybe 15%) based on the fact that even if my current PDA will give me virtually no speed improvement by using the card, my next PDA (with more horsepower) might.

However - I don't own a CF PDA and I don't anticipate owning one either. So for SD I'd pay more. For CF I'm not sure how much use I'd get out of it down the road.

I have a 512MB SD Card that I use which is pretty decent. I use an iPod for music though. If I was buying today I'd be buying 1GB.

2gb would be a better choice in my opinion i use it for my movies (no music) and i'm fitting 26 episodes of initial D I at 45mb per episode. Got 1 movie Italian job on it for abit over 200MB. And still have space left over for like 2-3 movies.

I have a 1gb and 512gb sandisk, Niether ultra. they both run fine the 1gb lags a little on a soft reset, but is great and with a gig I can watch dvds, play mp3s and games

i assume u got the axim x50 low? if u did it shouldnt have a problem working
