Transcend 1 Gb 80x SD card.

I bought this card for my Axim X50v and the pocket mechanic test tell me that SD card speed is:
Read - 7.8x, 1.15 MB/s
Write - 0.3x, 0.05 MB/s.
Why?, what happens?

Same results here, fastest SD card I've tried was an Adata 50x 1Gb card, results were:

Read 1.45Mb/s
Write 0.08Mb/s

Even using a Panasonic Pro 133x SD card I only got the following:

Read 0.97Mb/s
Write 0.33Mb/s

The Panasonic was the fastest write out of all the SD and CF cards I've tried including a Sandisk Extreme III 2Gb CF card.

Anyone have any faster cards on the X50v, it's frustrating that cards do not perform at the rated speeds with slower rating cards outperforming those rated faster.

The Transcend 80x is SD1.1 compliant and will only show that speed with SD1.1 compliant equipment, in non SD1.1 it should have a maximum speed of 66x or 10Mb/s

I don't think it's the card but rather the limitations of the x50v.

Yes, it's frustrating. All indicate that is a X50v limitation. The next SD card, will be more cheap.

Excuse me for my English.
