After one week of flawless service with my x50v, my SDcard has thrown in the towel. It no longer shows up in niether the file explorer nor while i explore using my desktop PC.
Damn Sandisk!
I take it this has happened to lots of people in the past, given the fact that Sandisk cards and Axim products don't tend to work well together... Anyway: Is there a solution to this? Is there a problem with my card or with my axim?
similar problem on my sandisk 1gb card: less than 10 days, and 400mb of mp3 and some more files lost, but the space is still occupied.
Had to install a trial version of Pocket Mechanic, and format the card.
Now I'm looking for a code, 'cause the program looks good ;)
Did you FORMAT the card first using your OS on your PC? You must format the card(s) first before using. Use FAT32 complete. The reason is to avoid data corruption, which seems to happen on MS$ mobile piece-of-junk OS.
We need a better alternative to this MegaMobileOutdatedInferiorPainInTheNeckOS.
I Have this brand new 1 GB SD card DANE-ELEC no more than 3 months and then it just desapeared suddenly from any device It can't be seen in any of the not even PPC, Palm, MAC or PC. Bloody Card. How can I format or repair the card or something if is not posible see the card on any device.
Im not sure if this is your problem but i have a similiar problem where the card shows up on a reader but not in my axim. From what i found that is a compatability issue with sandisk. But theres a fix. More on this thread. http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showt...disk+RescuePro
